What You Will Do

  • Knowledge share, coordinate, and communicate effectively to all levels
  • Work independently or as a team with maintenance technicians and management
  • Demonstrate effective and logical troubleshooting skills
  • Understand and use data to improve productivity
  • Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures
  • Assist crew members and work in team environment
  • Be willing to work in a hot, humid, cold, noisy, dusty manufacturing environment

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Advanced PLC programming skills (Allen-Bradley PLC 5 & Contrologix experience required)
  • Ability to troubleshoot and maintain plant network systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot, configure and repair all types of PLCs & HMIs
  • Ability to troubleshoot, configure and install AC drives
  • Ability to troubleshoot, configure and install process instruments
  • Able to read assembly drawings, schematics, and equipment layouts
  • Extensive PLC controls programming background to include servo experience, networked PLCs, and analog control
  • HMI programming background to build new or modify existing HMIs on a variety of platforms
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Must be able to lift 35 lbs

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Knowledge proficiency with AutoCAD
  • Two (2) year degree in a technical related field
