Position Title: Welder Wage: $19.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:30am - 3:00pm Skilled welders and entry-level welders alike, we need your help! We have 1st shift openings for Welders in the heart of Grinnell, IA. This company offers a ton of room to grow and will train the right candidates into being the perfect welder. Apply today! Welder Responsibilities: - Weld livestock gates using cut and grinded materials - Use MIG welding to weld 20 gauge pipes together - Operate crane to move gates weighing more than 60lbs as needed - Use basic hand tools to move parts in place as needed Requirements for Welder: - Able to lift 50-60lbs repetitively (50-100 times/hour) and 100 lbs. occasionally (1-2 times/day - team lift) - Able to bend, twist, push, pull and crouch throughout shift - Able to stand for duration of shift - Able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment - Able to work in a fast-paced environment grinnell@qpsemployment.com IND096 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
