Chicago, IllinoisAdd to Favorite Jobs Email this Job Department: MED-Psych & Behavioral Science Job Summary: Provide technical research support to Principal Investigator and Co-Investigators in the Health Disparities and Public Policy Program (HDPP). The program, housed in the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences, is conducting 2 major studies: The Northwestern Juvenile Project, a 30-year longitudinal research study of the needs and outcomes of youth in juvenile detention (now median age 43); and Next Generation, a longitudinal intergenerational study of original Northwestern Juvenile Project participants and their children, examining factors that promote resilience in children. Primary duties include: conducting literature searches and preparing literature tables; synthesizing information and preparing memos summarizing findings from scholarly publications in support of grant applications, presentations, and manuscripts; helping to prepare materials for research presentations (PowerPoint); and researching interview measures. Target hiring range for this position will be between $19.89 to $27.97 per hour. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
