Job Description Summary

Job Description

o Monitor and maintain fiber reactors

o Lock out reactors and perform an air quality test

o Load aluminum ingots (use hoist when needed)

o Dispose of banding and replace pallets as necessary

o Perform HCL and H2O additions

o Monitor and maintain reactor levels until batch completion

o Pump off fiber reactor liquid to designated tank

o Aerate, sample and read tank levels

* Filter, transfer, and adjust liquids as described in standard operating procedures

* Operate a forklift to load and unload materials, transport products, and assist in material handling activities

* Fill finished product containers as described in standard operating procedures

* Manufacture zirconium batches per work order requirements

* Inspect equipment to include, but not limited to forklifts, pumps, lines/hoses, fittings, ladders, etc.

* Accurately record all pertinent processing data, including the addition of raw materials or intermediate products while processing.

* Fulfill written work orders as assigned

* Strong commitment to safety, quality, and adherence to regulatory standards

* Adhere to all safety protocols and always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)

* All other tasks assigned by supervision and/or management.

Traveling Required: n/a

Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand, walk, reach, stoop, squat, climb ramps & stairs, push and pull, reach at or below waist level and occasionally overhead, drive (forklift), hear, understand, and distinguish speech and other sounds (machinery alarms).
