Title: Quality Improvement Specialist I

Duration: 07 Months - (Possibility to extend)

Location: Remote - we can accept candidates outside of Austin but only Texas please. They do not need to live near an SHP office.

Walk me through the day-to-day responsibilities of this the role and a description of the project (Outside of Workday JD):

Calling provider offices to request/validate facility and provider addresses, and/or collect medical records for the HEDIS project
Data entry of change of addresses into system
Uploading records upon receipt
Documenting all outreach efforts
One of the QI Specialists must be well versed at running reports and working with MS Excel

Required Skills/Experience:		Preferred Skills/ Experience:
1.	Basic computer and excel skills	1.	Medical records department experience
2.	Phone skills (customer service, not necessarily call center)	2.	HEDIS experience (Preferred but not required)
3.	Attention to detail	3.
