SHIFT: Day (United States of America)Seeking Breakthrough Makers Dr. Allison Curry, PhD, MPH, Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and Director of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the CHOP Center for Injury Research and Prevention (CIRP), is seeking a talented and strongly self-motivated individual to join their research team as a Clinical Research Assistant I. Under the direct supervision of Dr. Curry, a program manager, and a research coordinator, the Research Assistant will provide administrative and operational support to two NIH-funded multi-site studies investigating driving outcomes among adolescents with neurodevelopmental differences. The Research Assistant will also coordinate or assist with various studies included in their program of research related to the high burden of and prevention of motor vehicle crashes and other unintentional injuries among children and adolescents. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to participant recruitment and enrollment, administering study measures, scheduling participant visits, survey development, data entry and management, and study enrollment support. Additional responsibilities will include participation in project related meetings, literature reviews, creating meeting agendas, and manuscript development. Candidates must be comfortable interacting with participating families in the field (i.e. homes, neighborhood settings), demonstrate cultural humility interacting with neurodiverse adolescent and parent participants, and perform well in office-based and remote settings. This position will be a blend of remote and in-person work and will involve working with remote and hybrid team members. Position contingent upon grant funding. Cover letters required.
