Description Unleash Your Potential! The Leidos Innovation Center (LInC) is searching for an Optical Engineer to join our Electro-Optics (EO) Research Team in Dayton, OH. The successful candidate will utilize a strong engineering or physics background designing, testing, modeling, simulating, and analyzing the next generation of EO systems and concepts. This position will support multiple simultaneous research efforts within LInC requiring skills including hands-on experimentation, calibrated testbed design, modeling and simulation of optical systems, and data manipulation and analysis.Addressing our customers' challenging mission requirements necessitates research and development of new capabilities as well as making improvements to existing systems. Your greatest work is ahead! The successful candidate will be called upon to develop new and innovative solutions to challenging problems.
