The Maintenance Planner & Storeroom Coordinator reports to the Maintenance Reliability Manager. This individual is responsible for planning and scheduling all maintenance work and management of the storeroom.

This is an onsite role at our Bristol, PA facility with a schedule of 7 AM - 4 PM EST, Monday - Friday. There will also be overtime opportunities.



Responsibilities

75% - Prioritize and schedule maintenance activities to include:

    Communication of maintenance work schedules, projects and tasks to maintenance staff.
  • Work closely with the reliability and production groups during the installation of new projects, review of project plans and discussion of defect elimination.
  • Provide back-up supervision of reliability mechanics in absence of manager.
  • Act as lead contact for all plant and Bristol Business center safety systems to include, alarms, sprinkler and security systems.
  • Manage small capital projects ($50,000 to $75,000) through bidding jobs with contactors and management of contractors.
  • Partner with purchasing department to obtain and select quotes

20% - Management of material inventory to include:

  • Maintain a clean, organized storeroom and incorporate clean design practices during the day to day work activities.
  • Issue storeroom materials according to policy and practice.

5% - Support Plant Initiatives

  • Supports plant continuous improvement initiatives participates on root cause analysis teams
  • Supports BBS process by preforming observations
  • Supports Loss Control policy, AIMS, ISO 9001 and OHSAS 18001 management systems.
  • All other duties as assigned


Qualifications

  • 5+ years' experience in manufacturing with focus in maintenance, equipment, materials and purchasing.
  • Journeymen in trade, preferably electrical, mechanical OR Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Auto Cad experience, specifically updating drawings strongly preferred
  • Strong Skills in MS Office required: SAP experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9000 and OSHA PSM procedures
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, time management and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple programs and data sources.
  • Works as an effective, engaged team member in the overall operations of the business.

CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT

  • Supports the site HES policy and complies with all regulatory and internal requirements
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.; both to carry and to lift overhead
  • Must be able to climb ladders and be capable of working at significant heights
  • Must not be allergic to certain chemicals (ex. acrylate/methacrylate monomers, common solvents.)
  • Participates in HES activities provided by site management and Arkema Inc. (e.g., Behavioral Base Safety,
    SafeStart, etc.)
  • Supports and promotes the reporting of all health, safety, environmental, near-miss, accident or injury incidents
