This is a 24/5 facility offering MONDAY-FRIDAY schedule options! This role is responsible for coordinating activities of logistics in the warehouse and monitors daily activities to ensure time and quality commitments are met.

What You Will Do:

  • Establishes standard work and assists in training
  • Coordinates equipment and labor to minimize downtime
  • May back up forklift operator for shipping and receiving as needed
  • Participates in developing, deploying, and using continuous improvement systems
  • Identifies safety hazards through safety audits and initiatives. Recommends corrective actions
  • Communicates maintenance needs, quality issues or other situations that impact safety, quality or productivity to supervisor
  • Continuously identifies opportunities for system and process waste elimination
  • Ensures constant communication with management on daily activities and challenges
  • Participates in selecting and developing new hires
  • Follows the proper procedures as a member of the Emergency Response Team (ERT)
  • Ensures the warehouse is clean and maintained
  • Other duties as assigned

Position Details:

  • Plant location: San Bernardino, CA
  • Work week and shift: 2nd shift, Monday - Friday, 1:30pm - 10:00pm
  • Compensation package offered: $29.00 / hour ($1.00 / hour shift differential)

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year experience in a warehouse/logistics environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Immigration sponsorship not available for this role

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift/carry 50lbs
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen

Preferred Requirements

  • Prior SAP experience
  • TPM knowledge and experience
  • Familiarity with inbound and outbound warehouse processes
  • Familiarity with basic transportation processes
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing & Six Sigma systems
  • Previous forklift operating experience
  • Experience in a lead or back up lead role
  • Ability to solve problems and devise methods and procedures
  • Excellent communication skills

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range:

$29.00 / hour. This position pays an hourly rate and is eligible for overtime.

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range is based on full-time 40 hours per week. Ecolab in good faith anticipates it will pay within the posted range. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining the compensation for a potential new employee such as education, training, experience, work location, travel (if required), etc.
