General Purpose of Job

The Full Stack Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining custom software applications to support business requirements. This includes front-end and back-end development, managing web-based solutions, coding, database management, and troubleshooting. The role works closely with system administrators and corporate communications to manage SECO's internal and external websites, while supporting cloud services such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure. Additionally, the Full Stack Developer leads software development projects, from gathering requirements to user acceptance testing, implementation, and ongoing support.

Education


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Job-related experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.


Experience


  • Five (5) years of progressive experience in web design, architecture, conceptualization,
  • implementation, testing and support.
  • Experience or similar work in an electric utility or related industry preferred.


Licenses/Certifications


  • GIAC Web Application Defender (GWEB) certification is preferred.


Other Requirements


  • Ability to work irregular hours for assignment completion and flexibility to change scheduling and report to work on short notice during emergency situations.
  • Normal work hours will be eight (8) hours Monday through Friday, between 8:00 am to 5:00pm.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment background check, physical and drug screen.
