The GOM Facilities Engineering Leader will be part of the GOM F&C Topside Facilites Eng Team and will support the Gulf of Mexico Business Unit in managing both short and long term planning as well as in controlling program execution while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. This will be done by working closely with the Assets, Plants and Operational Support groups to gather, analyze and reconcile all necessary data to allow execution of these plans.



  • Leadership for HES performance
  • Coordination of projects with Engineering, Asset and Operations teams to meet business goals and objectives
  • Execution of projects and preparation of accurate cost and schedule estimates in conjunction with required stakeholders
  • Supervision and management of budgets according to strategic business plans
  • Assessment and management of risks associated with project development and brownfield operations
  • Oversight of facility construction campaigns, including planning, execution and downtime required
  • Standardization of procedures, guidelines, systems, tools, databases, and reporting across organization
  • Development of relationships with contractors, partners, and internal stakeholders to enable strong project deliveries and effective problem resolution
  • Responsible for project assignments and guidance for subordinates
  • Responsible for career development and training for subordinates
  • Responsible for performance reviews for subordinates

Qualifications

Required:



  • Relevant Engineering Degree & Bachelor of Science
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in offshore project execution
  • This position requires the candidate to exhibit excellent leadership skills with extensive contacts internally, and with partners, contractors and vendors.
  • Update Senior Leadership on all HES, company, people, financial and legal issues.
