Position Title: Coil Winder
Wage: $19-$22/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6am-2:30pm QPS Employment Group is hiring Coil Winders for a company in Richmond, IL. Coil Winder Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Responsible for the assembly of electric transformers - Final assembly of the transformers and enclosures - Attach welding terminals to coils through brazing or welding depending on work directions - Complete any custom requests for orders - Overhead crane operation Coil Winder Requirements: - Experience with hand and power tools preferred - Previous experience with brazing or welding is a plus - Excellent hand-eye coordination is needed - Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions - Stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and move about all shifts - Ability to lift 50lbs - Occasionally lift, pull, and push - will use the overhead crane as needed QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
