Posting Summary	Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Baker A for the department of Dining Services. Among the key duties of this positions are the following: Takes a leading role in the overall operation of the Bake Shop. Guides and instructs a group of lower grade bakers and kitchen helpers in a variety of baking operations to comply with standardized recipes, prescribe procedures, master menus, and production schedules. Prepares bakery good and pastry for catered affairs or special events. Performs all of the duties of the group.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience	Requires high school/vocational school education or equivalent plus three years baking experience in large volume institutional or restaurant setting.
Certifications/Licenses
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities	Must be able to read and follow standardized recipes and production worksheets in English. Must pass Food Handler's Certification.
Preferred Qualifications	Prefers knowledge of fancy pastries, decorating cakes, writing recipes and mixing dough's in large quantities.
