PROGRAM MANAGER

The Community Health Worker Institute (CHWI) at Montefiore Einstein is a new Institute of excellence designed to help patients navigate social determinants of health. The aim of the CHW Institute is to establish a sustainable and scalable framework to formalize and promote the education and deployment of Community Health Workers (CHWs) to address the social determinants of health. We are looking for a motivated Program Manager to oversee the implementation and day to day operations of the institute

The Program Manager will work closely with the senior management and leadership team, and report directly to the Assistant Director of the CHW Institute to effectively develop, maintain, and grow the institute. This position will be engaged in all aspects, based on skill level, of implementation and ongoing management of CHW Center programs/initiatives

EDUCATION/SKILLS:

Bachelor's degree required. Five years experience

Experience in the public health field; familiarity with community health workers preferred

Experience managing grant funds and/or contracts

Management and administrative experience with teams (>5 people) is required

Bilingual in Spanish or French preferred
