Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Overdose Prevention Coordinators to conduct harm reduction distribution activities throughout Missouri under the direction of the Project Director (e.g. stuffing naloxone, fentanyl test strip, and wound care kits; distributing kits to local organizations and mailing to statewide partners; attending community events to distribute naloxone)
  • Provide support to harm reduction team with training curriculum updates and development, communication to partners and consultants, and completing necessary tracking and reports
  • Assist Overdose Prevention Coordinators and Research Specialist to compile quarterly and annual data-driven reports on opioid overdose and naloxone administration trends in Missouri
  • Organize, attend, and track all project activities. Applicants must demonstrate a high level of organization and dependability.

  • Other duties as assigned

Remote Work/Physical Requirements: This will be a hybrid work position with days that consist of in-office, community, and remote work.

Funding expectations: This position is currently funded through a combination of grant funding through the State of Missouri. Current grant funding is annual with expectations for renewals.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. The University will not sponsor applicants for this position for employment visas.
