HDR is looking for an Administrative Project Coordinator to join our Building Engineering Services (BES) Business Group in Walnut Creek, Sacramento or Folsom, CA. This position is an integral part of an existing program management team in Northern California supporting programmatic project delivery objectives while also working directly with HDR program managers and project teams across the nation. The Project Coordinator will be supporting projects in a variety of markets including Technology/ Media/Telecommunications, Financial Institutions, Hotel/Leisure, and Commercial.

Primary Responsibilities

In the role of Administrative Project Coordinator, we'll count on you to:



  • Type, format and organize project documents, reports, specifications and correspondence
  • Assist Project Manager with financial reporting and tracking as well as data collection and entry
  • Create and maintain paper and electronic files
  • Order insurance and monitor insurance certificates
  • Apply company quality assurance guidelines and procedures for project document management
  • Assist with and help coordinate meetings and presentations
  • Exhibit professionalism with clients
  • Work with multiple Project Managers and project teams as needed
  • Assist with project guides, project reviews, project invoices and expense reports as needed
  • Support operations including marketing efforts
  • Perform other duties as needed

Required Qualifications



  • Associate degree in a closely related field or combination of education and relevant experience
  • 1+ years related experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • High attention to detail
  • Highly organized
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must


Preferred Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience with engineering or architectural firms preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project
  • Familiarity with InDesign and/or PowerPoint

The expected compensation range for this $48,587.00 - $78,875.00 annually depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location.
