Join us as a Production Technician in our Moorpark, CA Facility.

In this role, you will be supporting the manufacturing and production of Pentair Pool Products. Performs line assembly operations to produce and assemble through Lean Manufacturing Methodologies.

Location Description:

At Pentair we've revolutionized the pool industry with innovative and high-performance pool pumps, filters, heaters, cleaners, lights, automation systems and more. We have an opening for a Production Coordinator for our Lights Department at our Moorpark, CA facility. Only offices are air conditioned, industrial ceiling fans inside warehouse.

What's in it for you?

  • The anticipated hourly pay range for this role is: $15.38 - $28.55. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be determined by considering demonstrable level of experience, skills, knowledge, and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, and other relevant business or organizational needs.

  • 11 paid holidays each year

  • 2 weeks of paid vacation to start (accrued weekly) and prorated based on hire date.

More details about the opportunity:

  • Responsible for correctly, documenting and handling of parts.

  • Flexibility to rotate on the line.

  • Packing small components and packaging operations.

  • General labor incidental to manufacturing operations.

  • Must be capable of performing a variety of production operations incidental to the manufacturing of various items or devices produced in the department

  • Must be able to use fine hand manipulation.

  • Energetic and self-starter.

  • Must be a team player with good communication skills.

  • Must be able to read, write and understand written, visual and oral instructions.

  • Able to use a variety of hand tools in department, including but not limited to, air guns, screwdrivers, wrenches and other power hand tools.

Position Hours/Shift:

  • 2nd Shift (starting at 4:00PM)

  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

  • In order to accommodate the needs of our business, it may be necessary to change individual work schedules on either a short-term or long-term basis.

Physical Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Ability to create a highly effective team environment.

  • PC literacy: Windows, Word, Excel

  • High School or Equivalent (minimum)

  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and twist at the waist.

  • Must be able to lift-up to 30 pounds from floor to waist.
