Job Description: This position will function as both a Patient Care Tech (PCT) and Telemetry Technician. A Patient Care Tech functions as a clinical support partner assisting the patient care team by performing various tasks and procedures as instructed by a licensed professional. Minimum Qualifications: Current CNA Certification. If working in Utah -OR- Completion of nursing assistant training program (verification of nursing assistant training program completion required and C.N.A. certification required within 120 days of hire) and BLS -OR- Completion of a fundamentals of nursing class with a passing grade within the past two years (official transcript required to verify completion of class and C.N.A. certification required within 120 days of hire) and BLS For those hired into a skilled nursing facility or long-term care center obtaining a C.N.A. certification within 120 days is allowed only if the new hire has never been had a C.N.A. in Utah. If previously certified, must have a current and valid C.N.A. before start date Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Preference given to those with at least 6 months of patient care experience. CNA experience or applicable healthcare experience. Physical Requirements: Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies.
