Job Description

Leads and provides guidance to Psychologists in the performance of duties. Performs psychological / behavioral assessments and psychotherapeutic interventions and other procedures of patients.

Job Responsibility

1.Leads and provides guidance to Psychologists or other staff in the performance of duties. Participates in orientation and ongoing training and ensures any required performance evaluations are completed.
2.Provides clinical consultation and clinical supervision and/or performs duties related to developing and shaping a special clinical program.
3.Performs psychological / behavioral assessment and psychotherapeutic interventions and other procedures.
4.Develops and implements a plan of treatment.
5.Evaluates care provided for positive patient outcomes and analyzes outcome/follow-up data for purposes of performance improvement and research, in accordance with Institutional Review Board Guidelines and approvals.
6.Provide coordination and/or perform administrative duties for as needed for licensed psychologist
7.Maintains related documentation.
8.Performs related duties as required. All responsibilities noted here are considered essential functions of the job under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Duties not mentioned here, but considered related are not essential functions.

Job Qualification

*Doctor of Psychology required.
*Current License to practice as a Psychologist in New York State required, plus specialized certifications as needed.
*Must have Medical Board Appointment.

*Previous experiences in developing and evaluating psychosocial programs in milieu settings, highly preferred.

*Training and experience in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, highly preferred.

*Experience with trauma informed care, women's mental health, and perinatal issues, highly preferred.
*5-7 years of relevant experience and 2+ years of leadership experience, required.
