JOB TITLE/DEPARTMENT: Lakeview Cafe Opener POSITION TYPE: Seasonal, Full Time PAY RATE: $15.00-$18.00 DOE + Tips SUPERVISORY: No SUPERVISED BY: Lakeview Management ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: This is an early morning/early off position (5:00 am or earlier start) Applicant must be dependable and have reliable all weather transportation to and from work. Primary duties include, but are not limited to, high quality production and execution of certain food items for multiple venues, breakfast set up and execution for the cafe, and food prep. Food quality must meet high standards and be produced according to safe food practices, recipes and procedures. Cleans station and equipment daily. At each shift change will clean and organize area, and fully stock for the next shift. Applicants must be 16 years of age. Job applicants will be reviewed and interviewed according to applications and interviews will begin Oct 4th. Earlier applications will be reviewed first. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Combined standing/walking position for up to 8 hours per shift. Will stand in place for up to 30 minutes. Will get breaks as available. Will lift up to 25lbs frequently, up to 50lbs occasionally. Will bend, squat, kneel climb, twist, and reach above shoulder level on a frequent basis; will use hands for grasping and fine manipulation. Worksite is 100% inside and be exposed to fumes, odors, mechanical and burn hazards. All sensory skills needed. Company supplied uniform. OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES: Must have or be willing to obtain extensive knowledge of Schweitzer Mountain Resort facilities and activities. Responsibilities are listed as guidelines and the position is not necessarily limited to these items. JOB SPECIFICATIONS: SKILLS: Basic food production/general organizational skills. EDUCATION: English reading, writing and communication; basic math EXPERIENCE: One to two years of cooking experience with demonstrated competence. LICENSE NEEDED: None MACHINES/TOOLS OPERATED: All kitchen equipment, dish machine, knifes, and tools.
