Shift available and hours: 6:00 am-2:00 pm, Mon-Fri
Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to ensure all calibration, survey, and required combustion maintenance records are maintained according to their prescribed requirements.
  • Will review all process control, calibration, survey, and combustion planned work orders for proper completion and/or noted issues that will require follow-up.
  • Responsible to demonstrate safe work behaviors and compliance with all safety rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Responsible to perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance as required to maintain combustion equipment to obtain optimal efficiency and product uniformity.
  • Responsible to ensure combustion systems are being maintained within NFPA 86 and company compliance.
  • Responsible to assist engineers and supervisors in formulating test, calibration, repair and evaluation plans and procedures to maintain equipment and problem solve process variation issues.
  • Responsible to ensure process equipment is compliant with QA requirements through but not limited to performing process control tuning, thermal uniformity surveys, process control calibrations, system accuracy tests.

Required Education/Experience:

  • An Electrical or Electro-Mechanical Technical Degree or certificate equivalent with 1 year of applicable experience or 3 years' applicable experience in an industrial or related setting with a technical background in industrial electrical, electromechanical, combustion and process control systems.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

  • Candidate will be required to successfully complete knowledge and skills assessments and participate in training initiatives to maintain and improve skills in required time frames.
  • Strong ability to read, comprehend and interpret schematics, loop drawings, P&ID's and other technical resource manuals.
  • Self-motivated with strong problem solving skills capable of effectively and efficiently troubleshooting complex combustion, process control loops and other instrument device failures.
  • Software knowledge base skills and the ability to perform calculations and conversions.
