JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The Pennsylvania State University Press, a not-for-profit publisher of scholarly books, journals, and online content in the arts, humanities, and social sciences, is looking for a passionate, experienced, and dedicatedAcquisitions Editor who will manage the ongoing development of its Eisenbrauns imprint. Eisenbrauns publishes in a number of academic fields, all related to ancient Near East and biblical studies, including, specifically, Mesopotamian studies, Levantine history and archaeology, Semitic languages and linguistics, and biblical studies. Reporting to the Editor-in-Chief, the candidate will perform the following duties:

Typically requires a Bachelors Degree or higher and 3+ years related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. An advanced degree in a related field, plus four to six years of experience in scholarly, society, or professional publishing preferred. Additional Qualifications:

The salary range for this position, including all possible grades is: $56,200.00 - $81,500.00Salary Structure - additional information on Penn State's job and salary structure.
