Product Management Specialist Location: USA remote position The Product Management Specialist reports to Hygiene, Health & Consumables (HHC) Director of Strategic Insights and as a product manager, the Product Specialist has responsibility for owning and managing all product lines in assigned business units and regional associations as defined by the business unit. A product specialist is responsible for collecting and analyzing product line information using the available data systems, assimilating the data into actionable recommendations, and then working with the business functions to create, lead and implement product line improvement projects. This will result in an improvement in the productivity and profitability of our various production assets around the globe and drive an improvement in the overall regional business unit profitability. The Product Specialist is responsible for supporting their assigned business units and regions as a project manager for two project types: * Stage gated new product innovations under the follow subtypes: New Product Developments (NPD), New Product Localizations (NPL) and Product Line Extension (PLE). * Product substitution projects to actively move customers from one product offering to another product offering due to a product elimination or facilitate an overall improvement to business unit profitability. The Product Specialist will work with various members of the cross functional enterprise team including but not limited to Commercial, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Sourcing, and R&D. The Product Specialist will need to be skilled in working with these various groups and collaborating regularly to ensure deliver of the product and project duties assigned. As a project manager, leadership, organization, accountability, and persistence will all be essential in achieving commercial success. Presentation skills are also important as a Product Specialist may often lead meetings that help inform the group and keep the group accountable to project success. There will be numerous responsibilities tied to Project Management that can be explained during the interview process. Minimum Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in an engineering/science or a business/marketing discipline * Minimum 2 years work experience in a B2B environment, preferably in Technical, Marketing, or Supply Chain function. * High level of business acumen. Self-motivated and a problem solver that is comfortable working within a matrix organization * Understands the holistic view of the business and can align key interests of Commercial/ Sales and Operations/Supply Chain * Fluent in English - written and verbal with strong ability to communicate and influence across hierarchies and functions * TRAVEL REQUIRED: Estimated 10% Preferred Requirements: * Familiarity working in SAP or other equivalent ERP system * Working knowledge of chemical properties * Experience in chemicals industry product line management, adhesives, or industrial B2B * Experience working with cross functional and diverse teams * Advanced Excel capabilities Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location. The salary for this role is 85,000 - 115,000.In addition to your salary, H.B.
