Duties and Responsibilities
The Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine, Department of Surgery seeks a Surgical Oncologist to join its Division of Surgical Oncology in the section of GI Surgical Oncology. The successful candidate will have completed an approved surgical oncology or hepatobiliary fellowship and be Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in General Surgery. Skill set should include minimally invasive approaches to liver, pancreas, gastric and esophageal malignancies, as well as clinical interest in cytoreductive surgery and HIPEC. The individual will help with the coverage of the Alexian PSA and at LUMC focus efforts on survivorship, skin and soft tissue cancers. An interest in education of the residents and students is essential. Credentials and experience should be consistent with an academic appointment at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor.
