JOB PURPOSE/SUMMARY:
Responsible for observing, learning, and fulfilling the tasks and duties of a laborer. Learn how to remove the build up of concentrate in the pocket belt area, loading hoppers and transverse conveyor alleys. The apprentice laborer will learn how to operate and utilize the hi-vac system or manually broom any concentrate accumulations outside the conveyor alleys to prevent environmental contamination: the turret deck, control cab deck, tops of bin walls, on top of the canopy tarps. The apprentice laborer reports directly to the Loading Supervisor and will be given on the job training to fulfill the functions of the position. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
