Stanley Consultants is seeking a Student Intern to participate in studies, designs, and assist with construction observation for our Water/Wastewater Department in our Phoenix, AZ office. Tasks will include completion of assigned duties associated with water, wastewater, water reuse, and water resources related projects. This is a temporary position with the potential to lead to full time employment in the future.

What You Will Be Doing:

Knowledge of Microstation, AutoCAD, Revit, or GIS software is a plus. The ideal candidate will have an interest in water, wastewater, and/or water resources and will be enthusiastic and willing to learn. Responsibilities include assisting with engineering tasks such as the collection and analysis of data; checking design computations and quantity estimates; preparing preliminary calculations and designs of treatment processes, piping, and pumping facilities; assisting with the development of reports, specifications, and plans; periodic observation of on-going construction projects. Periodic travel, client meetings, and field work may be required.

Required Qualifications:



        • Must be currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Civil/Environmental Engineering
        • Must be at least a college sophomore with a minimum 3.0 (4.0 point scale) grade point.
        • Must have an interest in water wastewater, water reuse and/or water resources.
        • Knowledge of Microstation, AutoCAD, Revit, and/or GIS software is a plus
        • Must possess strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
        • Must possess good writing skills.
