Position Title: Adult and Student Services Coordinator (EOC Outreach Coordinator)

Employment Type: Full time, Academic Staff, Three-year grant funded position with possibility of renewal, Salaried

Reports To:TheAdult and Student Services Coordinatorwill report tothe Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) Program Manager.

Full Time Pay Range: Starting at $42,000

This position reports to the Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) program manager and supports the work and mission of the EOC. The EOC is situated in the Office of Professional and Continuing Education (PCE) and is funded by a TRIO grant from the U.S. Department of Education with the purpose of promoting secondary and post-secondary degree completion for qualifying individuals in the region, prioritizing low-income, first-generation, minority, and veteran adults.

  • Perform outreach to academic and community partners
  • Provide one-on-one and group support for program participants
  • Coordinate and attend meetings with faculty, directors, and community partners
  • Coordinate and deliver workshops, including material development
  • Collect data to measure program performance
  • Compose correspondence and maintain files
  • Enhance communication and organization through the use of various online collaborative programs


The successful candidate will coordinate and deliver workshops and events; provide educational and professional resources for program participants; schedule and secure logistics in support of program events; contribute to consistent program recordkeeping; and coordinate with external and internal partners to maximize support for program participants. This individual prioritizes diversity, equity, and inclusion in all interactions; enjoys working in a dynamic, collaborative environment; and will use good judgment and discretion while assuming office and program responsibilities. Some evenings and weekends may be required during job duties, and a flexible work schedule may be available.


Qualifications

Required:



  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • One year of customer service experience
  • Experience with CRM and virtual collaboration software
  • Flexibility to work nights and weekends as needed
  • Reliable personal transportation


Preferred:



  • Experience working within an educational institution
  • Two years of customer service experience
  • One year of coordinator or training experience
  • Grant funded work experience
  • Spanish Speaking/Bi-lingual
