SUPERVISORY: No SUPERVISED BY: Spa Manager/Supervisor POSITION TYPE: Year Round and Seasonal PAY RATE: $15+ Tips/Commission POSITION SUMMARY: Ambassadors are responsible for greeting and facilitating the movement of our guests through the multiple floors and areas of the spa. Includes greeting of all guests, assisting guests with questions regarding spa services and products. Additionally, Ambassadors act as a liaison between Receptionists and Therapists, Reception and Guests, and Guests and Therapists. Applicants must be 18 years of age. This position requires a post job offer/pre-employment Background Check. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Recognize, greet and extend warmth and hospitality to guests. Respond appropriately to information requests and complaints. This Shift will include a variance of shifts including am/pm weekends and holidays. Help with overall cleanliness and tidiness of common areas, help with laundry. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: May work up to 10-hour days with an average of 8 hours on your feet. Will use hands for fine manipulation (typing, computers and writing). Sensory skills of vision, speech, hearing and touch are required. Worksite is the Cambium Spa second and third floors. OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES: Answer calls and emails, create and adjust guest reservations and information. Aid with group functions if necessary. check-in and check-out, some housekeeping and general office upkeep. JOB SPECIFICATIONS: SKILLS: Basic computer and math, good judgment when dealing with the public EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent, Massage Therapy EXPERIENCE: Two years minimum massage therapy work experience. LICENSE NEEDED: First Aid, CPR encouraged MACHINES/TOOLS OPERATED: Computer, telephone, copier, credit card machine.
