POSITION TYPE: Seasonal WAGE RANGE: $15.00 hour + retail commission SUPERVISORY: No SUPERVISED BY: Wellness Spa Manager POSITION SUMMARY: Cambium Spa Receptionists are responsible for the reception area at the spa. Includes greeting of all guests, answering phone calls, assisting guests with questions regarding spa services and products, booking all appointments, checking the guest into the computer system, and charging for services performed. Applicants must be 18 years of age. This position requires a post job offer/pre-employment Background Check. ESSENTIAL FUNCTONS: Major areas of responsibility/management include, but are not limited:
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Responsible for up to 8 hours of standing and desk activity. Ability to lift to 10 pounds frequently and up to 40 pounds rarely. Will bend, squat, kneel, climb, balance, feel and reach above shoulder level occasionally to frequently. Hearing, speech, sight, walking, use of hands to finger, handle and feel objects, tools, or controls, are required. 100% inside and some potential outside worksite, exposed to all moisture levels and temperature changes. Hazards are ice and snow. QUALIFICATIONS: High School or equivalent education required. Minimum 2 - 3 years of customer service experience. Working knowledge of spa services and products. Possess basic math skills and the ability to accurately handle billing. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook: daily use of nearly all programs will occur. PREFERRED: Prior front desk experience PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Position requires walking and standing most of the working day; must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 6 hours in length. Must be able to lift 15lbs. on a regular and continuing basis. Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill tasks. Requires manual dexterity, grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending and climbing. |
