Summary: The Production Line Operator is responsible for operating the production line equipment, feeding and finishing products, and documenting all products made. This role is responsible for carrying out the overall support of the line production working closely with leadership and production team members to ensure work is completed effectively and efficiently.

What Your Schedule Will Look Like:

  • Standard Hours: 6:00am-2:30pm, Monday-Friday


What You'll Be Doing:



  • Setup, operate and maintain all packaging equipment for products in line production.
  • Monitor and support all quality measures, including overall visual bag inspection for proper seal integrity, coding, and weight details.
  • Provide pertinent documentation of all quality attributes and input ingredient data into quality documents.
  • Keep production rooms and work areas cleaned and sanitized.
  • Adhere to safe work practices, follow GMPs, and maintain sanitary conditions to ensure product quality is maintained.
  • Engage in safe workplace and food safety practices at all times.
  • Communicate all production related concerns and matters to the Production Supervisor or Team Lead in a timely manner.
  • Performs additional tasks, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.


Qualifications:



  • HS Diploma or GED equivalent is required
  • Prior experience (1+ year) working in a manufacturing environment/facility
  • Previous experience in a food, dietary supplement, or pharmaceutical manufacturing facility strongly preferred
  • Strong work ethic, initiative, and attention-to-detail
  • Ability to successfully complete standard shop math basics
  • Must be able to read, write and communicate in English
  • Must be able to work in a dusty environment with exposure to food allergens (ex. dairy, soy, etc.) and wet work environment (Climate Controlled)
  • Ability to work on a mezzanine work station up to 20 feet high
  • Frequently required to stand; walk; talk or hear; reach above shoulders; use hands to finger, handle, grasp, pinch or touch objects, controls, tools or equipment; kneel, crouch and use foot/feet to operate machinery
  • Occasionally required to lift, carry, move, push or pull materials, product or equipment up to 50 pounds; bend at the waist; climb or balance
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, up to eight (8) or more hours in a single shift
