Our IS4S Huntsville / Auburn, Alabama locations are seeking to hire an experienced Engineer to analyze inertial only, GPS, and blended solution navigation data sets. The candidate will support verification activities for government-funded projects related to open architecture, open systems, autonomy, communication, electronic warfare, and advanced navigation technologies. We are looking for a candidate who is a self-starter, a collaborative leader and open to finding new ways to solve challenging technical problems. We are especially focused on developing modular open systems that enable rapid prototyping and deployment of real-world systems.

Job Description:

This job requires the applicant to:


  • Develop analysis tools and plans in support of verification activities
  • Coordinate data collection with test engineers
  • Interact with government and commercial customers
  • Coordinate test activities of subcontractors
  • Produce test reports and data summaries
  • Make meaningful contributions in a professional work environment
  • Work closely with a highly collaborative team of engineers to deliver innovative prototype solutions


The successful candidate will have:

  • Strong desire to contribute to overall team success
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Ability to work closely with a small, agile development team in a collaborative environment


Required Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM or related fields
  • Minimum of 10 years engineering experience (including post-graduate education)
  • Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience (government-related projects preferred)
  • Experience with testing of software intensive aircraft systems or avionics
  • Experience with MatLab and other data analysis tools


Desired Experience:

  • Proven ability to innovate out of the box solutions - a proponent of change and collaboration
  • Experience in developing prototype communication, EW, or PNT systems in operationally relevant test environments
  • Experience with PNT and/or autonomous systems
  • Business intelligence



Must be a US Citizen; this position requires obtaining a government security clearance at the SECRET level.
