The Strategic Division (SD) supports high-reliability organizations including Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, and the Department of Energy (DOE), among others. Our support across our client base is expanding rapidly and encompasses important services, such as data analytics and visualization, threat analysis, risk management, modeling and simulation, cost estimating, earned value management, program management, system engineering, independent evaluation, and High Consequence Event prevention.

SPA's Strategic Division's Strategic Development Group (SDG) supports critical U.S. government programs providing Program Management support, Systems Engineering support, Systems Safety support, and Financial Analysis support.

SDG is hiring now for a Program Analyst at Maritime Plaza in Washington, DC.

Washington, DC Salary Transparency: $100,000 - $125,000/year.



Responsibilities

The Program Analyst will provide technical and programmatic support to the TRIDENT II missile and reentry bodies. They will support headquarters level planning, development, and execution for a variety of activities including systems integration, system accuracy, system reliability, support equipment design, and systems safety. Travel 1-2 times/year will be required.



Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree.
  • U.S. Citizen with DoD Secret Security Clearance, or ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance while employed with SPA.
  • 4+ years professional experience with defense programs.
  • Exceptional writing and presentation abilities with strong work ethic, time management, and interpersonal skills.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience working with Strategic Systems Programs.
  • Experience working with DoD engineering and acquisition processes.
  • Experience with US Government acquisition, US government budgeting and project planning.
