Probo Medical is seeking an experienced and hands-on Director of FP&A to join our team. The Director of FP&A will be instrumental in shaping the financial strategy and driving the business performance. This role requires a blend of financial modeling and variance analysis, operational insight and problem-solving skills. You will be responsible for planning, analysis and management reporting activities, while also playing a key role in managing and optimizing our growth initiatives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Financial Planning Analysis: Prepare, review, and maintain financial models, quarterly forecasts and the annual budget that are unique to various reporting segments within the organization.

  • Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports, variance analyses, and performance metrics to senior management, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.


  • Financial Analysis: Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to identify trends and general business performance. Build monthly reports to be leveraged in monthly performance review with senior management and PE Sponsor on data-driven insights.
  • Strategic Insight: Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to help guide strategic decision-making and operational improvements.
  • Growth Management: Support and lead financial aspects of business unit expansions and growth efforts, ensuring alignment with overall company goals.
  • Operational Efficiency: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency, streamline processes, and drive performance improvements.
  • Support the Business Development and M&A teams as necessary.
  • Support business unit leadership, along with management, with special projects and ad-hoc analysis.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Strong foundation in FP&A, banking or private equity.
  • Proficient in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic analysis, with a creative approach to problem-solving and business development.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate financial information to management and non-financial stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and precision.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.


Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Experience working in PE-backed company is not a requirement but recommended.


Compensation & Benefits

Salary based on experience, plus discretionary annual bonus up to 30% of base salary based on company performance and individual contribution
