Deputy Project Manager
Job Description Dewberry has an excellent opportunity for a Deputy Project Manager and/or Project Engineer with minimum 5 years of experience with an emphasis on the design and construction of stormwater and flood control projects in urban environments. The ideal candidate will serve as Project Manager and/or Project Engineer on planning, engineering, and construction of stormwater infrastructure and large-scale flood resilience related projects. The Project Manager will also participate in the development of proposals, lead business development, present at conferences, participate in professional organizations, and will have the opportunity to grow nationally. The Project Manager will be involved in managing a team of engineers to execute various projects within New York area and will play a critical role to support Dewberry's National Resilience Growth Initiative. Responsibilities
Candidate should be able to perform engineering analysis; develop preliminary and detailed designs of water infrastructure including, but not limited to, green infrastructure, BMPs, hydraulic control structures, drainage conveyance system, pump stations, flood control system and others; write specifications; and develop construction documents.
