Job Description: This position functions as both a Patient Care Tech (PCT) and Health Unit Coordinator (HUC). A Patient Care Tech functions as a clinical support partner assisting the patient care team by performing various tasks and procedures as instructed by a licensed professional. A Health Unit Coordinator, under the direction of nursing leadership, facilitates unit organization and patient care by assisting in the coordination of patient, nursing, physician and other health care provider office and clerical activities.Location: Park City Hospital - Park City, Utah Department/Unit: Maternity Unit - Mom & Baby Entry Rate: $17.60 + depending on verified patient care experience Shift Details: 40 hours per week Schedule: Full-time Monday - Friday, hours 9:00am-5:00pm with with possible call off hours depending on business. Job Essentials Current CNA Certification. - and - Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills. -OR- If working in Utah Completion of nursing assistant training program (verification of nursing assistant training program completion required and C.N.A. certification required within 120 days of hire) and BLS -OR- Completion of a fundamentals of nursing class with a passing grade within the past two years (official transcript required to verify completion of class and C.N.A. certification required within 120 days of hire) and BLS *For those hired into a skilled nursing facility or long-term care center, obtaining a C.N.A. certification within 120 days is allowed only if the new hire has never been a C.N.A. in Utah. If previously certified, must have a current and valid C.N.A. before start date. Preferred Qualifications Physical Requirements: Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies.
