LMI is seeking an Audit Readiness Specialist who will provide on-site support for the Audits Division with External and Internal Audits and related information requests and other related work as assigned.

Responsibilities

    Maintain a work plan for the Audit Unit and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Assist the Government with Congressional, OIG, and higher headquarters tasking.
  • Prepare SES and headquarters level briefs, white papers, and memos used as the basis to support recommendations.
  • Develop and manage project plans, track tasks, and schedules.
  • Assist the Government project manager in establishing team priorities.
  • Support development of acquisition milestone documentation and acquisition portfolio reviews.
  • Interface with senior levels of management.
  • The contractor shall have the following, but not limited to, knowledge and abilities:
  • Demonstrate initiative, sound judgment, and effective decision-making.
  • Plan and organize work, and excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Be a detailed-oriented, self-starter that is experienced in supporting senior Government leaders and other technical and business professionals.
  • Knowledge of and experience in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and SharePoint are required.


Qualifications

Required:

  • Ability to pass a background investigation
  • Bachelor'sdegreeinaccounting,finance,economics, orsimilarbusiness-related field.
  • Minimum of ten (3-5) years of experience performingaudit readinessorasset management.
  • Strong MS Office skills (including Excel and SharePoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Desired:

  • Master's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or similar business-related field.
  • Ability to create and foster a cooperative, respectful workenvironment.
  • High-energy, enthusiasm,and ability to effectively interact with clients at all levels ingovernment and industry.
  • Relevant certification,such asCPAor DAWIA (Financial Management)is desired.
