Position Title: Mechanical Assembler
Wage: $19-$25/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6am-2:30pm QPS Employment Group is hiring Mechanical Assemblers at a company in New Berlin, WI. Mechanical Assembler Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Assembly of new products, including but not limited to gearcases, wheels, and bottom blocks - Watch the due dates on orders and for following the routings that are given - Assemble or gather all components and subassemblies per order - Work with the Engineering Department when needed - Perform crane/fork truck inspection before use - Follow the assembly schedule to ensure jobs are built in the proper order - Disassemble customer-supplied assemblies for potential rebuilds Mechanical Assembler Requirements: - High school education or equivalent - Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and or weekends if needed - Able to supply your own standard tools - Lift up to 75lbs, capable of doing some pounding and the ability to operate power tools - Attention to detail and the ability to produce a quality product in a timely fashion - Ability to troubleshoot mechanical assemblies - Able to read and understand blueprints - Computer literate and have good communication skills - Some mechanical assembly is preferred QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
