Position Title: Maintenance Technician
Salary: $41,600-$52,000 per year Shift: 1st QPS Employment Group has a great Maintenance Technician position available at a company in Quincy, IL. This is a direct hire, 1st shift position. This position is responsible for performing skilled installation, alteration, maintenance and repair on systems in specific trades (e.g., electrical, plumbing, pneumatics, boilers or hydraulics). The position will perform calibration and preventive maintenance on basic and complex mechanical and electronic equipment. The position is responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of laundry facilities and equipment. The position will also assume independent responsibility for the overall preventive maintenance of assigned laundry equipment. This position will work close to hot laundry equipment and in tight crawl spaces, around steam pipes and electrical lines. Knowledge of OSHA safety practices is crucial. Maintenance Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Troubleshooting electronic systems & components. - Lead new and upcoming projects (e.g. installs, moves, and repairs). - Time management. - Other duties as assigned.
