Position Title: Maintenance Technician - 12 Hour Night Shift
Wage: $30.46 - $35.91/hour Shift: 12 Hour Nights Hours: 5:00pm - 5:00am (Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday OR Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday) Attention all cheese lovers! Maintenance Technician Responsibilities: - Responding to production requests for immediate attention to production line issues and problems - Maintaining production equipment - Maintaining records of preventative maintenance - Creating requisitions of parts and supplies to maintain equipment - Using knowledge to maintain electrical/electronic systems and general production line equipment - Identifying problem areas and addressing with permanent solutions - Following safety and quality procedures and policies Requirements for Maintenance Technician: - Associates degree or equivalent from technical school or college - At least three years of maintenance experience; experience in food manufacturing environment preferred - Experience working with ammonia refrigeration systems preferred - SAP experience is a plus - Advanced understanding of manufacturing processes - Ability to make decisions based on standard practice - Advanced understanding of production machinery and equipment - Ability to handle multiple tasks, troubleshooting, and problem solving - Advanced understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic drawings - Familiarity with OSHA requirements - Basic computer skills - Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, reach and pull - Ability to lift/move 50 pounds - Ability to perform repetitive work in fast-paced environment - Ability to work in temperatures between 50-60 degrees sheboygan@qpsemployment.com IND045 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
