Quality Coordinator

Provide administrative support to the Quality Department. Coordinate and manage document scanning, verify data control records and shipment documents. Works under direct supervision and follows procedures to accomplish assigned tasks.

Key Accountabilities

  • Input, retrieve and compile data/records. Computer operation (MS Word and Excel).
  • Understanding of customer requirements as defined on drawings and specifications.
  • Compile product certification packages for delivery to customer with product shipment.
  • Scan manufacturing planning's and purchase orders.
  • Verify inspection receiving certifications, scan shipment packing slips.
  • Manage and facilitate both internal and external (customer portals) systems.
  • Work with Shipping department and provide complete documentation to customers.
  • Perform additional tasks to support the Quality Assurance Department.

Desirable Experience, Capabilities and Success Factors

  • College degree in Quality or Engineering preferred.
  • 3 + years' experience in Quality Assurance/Control or other relevant experience.
  • Ability to promote and foster a Continuous Improvement culture.
  • Ability to communicate and work with others in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Must be organized and practice good housekeeping on a daily basis.
  • Must be flexible and cooperative with a continuous change of workload.
  • Effective communicator - strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effectively apply appropriate problem-solving and continuous improvement techniques.
  • Experience with understanding purchase orders, government contracts and blueprints.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel.
  • Ability to manage workload to deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced detail-oriented environment.
  • Must be a US Person (US Citizen or Permanent Resident Card Holder) per ITAR regulations.

Expected Hourly Pay: $24.00 - $32.00
