The Engineering Project Manager will be part of the Manufacturing Operations teams within the Regal Rexnord (RRX) Aerospace Division. This position will report directly to the Senior Director, Manufacturing Operations with dotted line reporting to the Senior Director, AMC RRX Business System, Transformation & Execution. This role will partner with senior functional, regional, and global leaders to ensure critical initiatives are transitioned into actionable milestones which are flawlessly executed to achieve long-term objectives. The Engineering Project Manager will bring to bear program/project management, change management expertise, and tools/knowledge of continuous improvement to support, implement, or lead strategic priorities and related efforts. Successful execution will require critical-thinking, collaboration, coaching / facilitation skills, and the ability to drive engagement and results across the organization. Focus will be on delivering outcomes that enable profitable growth, improve the customer experience, and increase associate engagement to deliver sustainable results

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Along with those identified below, other duties may be assigned.

  • Manage critical initiatives across sites using Parent A3s, Project A3s, and TTI / KPI Bowlers.
  • Coach / develop project team members to become authorities at A3 development and execution, TTI Bowlers, and Root Cause Countermeasures (RCCMs)).
  • Encourage and empower project teams by demonstrating innovative ways to drive employee culture and development while delivering business objectives.
  • Support creation, management, and execution of detailed project plans with key milestones and deliverables with weekly & monthly report outs.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders and influence as appropriate to drive decisions; Keep senior leaders abreast of project updates and escalate risks as needed.
  • Support delivery of projects on time and within budget.
  • Manage ambiguity and adapt to situations as appropriate to drive engagement and results.
  • Function as a Regal Rexnord (RRX) Business System Champion by utilizing RRX Business System tools and templates to manage projects and improve processes.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • A minimum of five years of experience as a Program / Project Manager with a 'hands-on' track record of utilizing and coaching on project management tools required.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, operations, or relevant business-related field preferred.
  • Must be a US Person (US Citizen or Permanent Resident)
  • Minimum three-years of experience managing large scale, multi-dimensional, cross-function, and complex projects to meet tight deadlines and achieve financial targets required.
  • Minimum three-years of experience working in a metal machining plant environment with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes used for metal manufacturing such as grinding and turning preferred.
  • Change management expertise and utilization
  • Lean Leadership experience (Visual Management, Daily Accountability, Standard Work, Gemba)
  • Leader that can influence and remove roadblocks to achieve results
  • Consistent track record for developing, training, and coaching teams at all levels
  • Effective communicator and facilitator including solid written, oral, and presentation-giving skills
  • Hardworking, creative, upbeat, and multidimensional leader and problem-solver that leads to positive change
  • Experience with quality systems: e.g. AS9100, ISO9001, ISO13485 or TS16949 a plus
  • Experience working with non-U.S. cultures and countries-preferred
  • Proficient administrative, communication, computer, and analytic skills including writing and presentations to all levels of management (MS Office Suite)

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Travel required (25-50% based on business needs)
"This position is subject to policies and procedures set forth by the State Department and applicants who do not meet such requirements will not be eligible for the position". Expected Salary: $87,000 - $150,000 a year.Several factors are considered when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role responsibilities, candidate's work experience, skills and education.
