Data Engineer

Your Job

i360 is seeking a Data Engineer to join the team! You will play a pivotal role in extracting, manipulating, and analyzing data from databases. Maintain existing data processes and identify ways to improve them.

What You Will Do

* Write efficient queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from databases

• Assist with the delivery of custom data requests (e.g., fuzzy match, appends)
• Build and run quality control on large datasets using Python
• Create and maintain technical specification documentation
• Review existing database scripts, identify outdated logic, implement optimized queries, and thoroughly evaluate each procedure

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

* Experience working with large data sets

* Proficient in at least one programming language (Python, JavaScript, Java, C# etc.)

• Strong understanding of relational database concepts (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server)
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 Products

What Will Put You Ahead

* Working knowledge of scripting languages such as Python

* Basic understanding of cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for managing data storage and computing resources

* Familiarity with data warehouse design and the use of tools like Amazon Redshift, Snowflake

* Experience working with political or commercial data
