This is an opportunity to join the Colorado Springs Technology Center (CSTC) New Product Introduction (NPI) Coordination Engineering team supporting the development of custom products and solutions utilized in Keysight's instruments.

As an integral part of the solutions-oriented CSTC organization, the primary focus of this role is to serve as the focal point for New Product Introduction (NPI) through the Product Lifecycle (PLC) process. The NPI Coordination Engineer will work with various internal partners to bring enabling technologies to Keysight applications while driving prototyping schedules to meet critical market windows. There will also be opportunities to participate in New Technology Introduction (NTI) projects in areas of new solution development, coordination, implementation, and qualification.


Responsibilities

* Serve as a primary point of contact for R&D partners and NPI communications.
* Facilitate PLC for various NPIs which includes checkpoint milestones and supporting documents.
* Ensure partner requirements are understood and communicated to all affected areas.
* Work collaboratively with R&D, engineering, and supply chain teams to create NPI project
schedules, prototype build plans, budget, and resource commitments.
* Perform cost and scenario analyses to estimate product costs, risks, and options.
* Facilitate a cadence for regular project status review meetings and escalate key issues/project
risks in a timely manner.
* Setup products in manufacturing infrastructure to ensure a smooth production transition.
* Ensure manufacturing capability and capacity exists to meet partner's mature forecast.
* Participate in development of technology roadmaps in response to future partners' needs.
* Find efficiencies and optimizations across multiple programs and projects through continuous
improvement of the PLC/NPI processes.
* Lead, coordinate, and participate in NTIs where new technical solutions are being developed to
meet challenging future product needs.
* Serve as a first-level technical consultant of new R&D inquiry relative to CSTC's capabilities.


Qualifications

Job Qualifications

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or technical-centric disciplines.
* Familiarity with Project/Program Management concept and tools is preferred.
* Proficient with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Point and Microsoft Word.
* Experience with CAD and business database.

sense of urgency.
* Positive attitude with focus on team achievements.
* Efficient in time-management and effectively handle multiple projects in parallel.

Pay Rate:

USD $62,510.00 - USD $104,180.00 Year

This position requires access to certain goods, software, technology, or technical data subject to U.S. export control laws and regulations. Under these laws and regulations, U.S. persons (which includes U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, lawful permanent residents, refugees, and asylees) working for Keysight can access export-controlled items without authorization from the U.S. government.
