Primary Responsibilities This position will work as a key member of a highway/roadway design team for moderate to large projects and work independently on smaller projects. In the role of Transportation Project Manager, we'll count on you to: Plan, and manage, and track all aspects of small to medium multi-discipline projects Independently coordinate work of other professionals Coordinate team throughout entire project's development Establish client relations and assist contractual, planning, design and construction meetings Participate in reviews with various disciplines and governing agencies Conduct work sessions for design development and contract execution Coordinate workload throughout entire project development, and ensure completion of documents on schedule and within budget Track financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust work effort with team to ensure work is completed within agreed-to parameters Work with Business/Accounting Leadership for project reviews Perform other duties as needed Preferred Qualifications Professional Engineering License, AICP Planning Certification, or ability to obtain PMP certification Experience managing projects for DOT or Municipality Willingness to work full time on-site and Client or Project Offices Familiarity with Microstation, Open Roads, Geopak and/or Inroads, or similar #LI-EH1 Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in related field 7 years related experience A minimum of 2 years project management experience Must have the ability to interact with various design teams, have excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skills An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must What We Believe HDR is our company.
