Your Role
Join Atlas Copco as a Commissioning Team Lead as part of the Program Managment Department where you will lead the team through commissioning completion in a largely customer service-centric approach ensuring Atlas Copco and the customer maintain a collaborative and profitable partnership.This role is largely commercial, customer service, and financially focused. Located in Voorheesville, NY, this role is Hybrid and reports to the Program Manager.
- You will establish a seamless process / communication route for the customer.
- You will have strong ownership for customer satisfaction, shares total ownership with PM (from project execution phase).
- You will continuously check in with the customer and internal team assigned for possible adjustments needed.
- You will be productive, collaborative, and still profitable - assist with commercial negotiations as needed.
- You will attend capacity check ins - reviewing upcoming commissioning projects and ability to service.
- You will coach and guide your team as needed - supporting the team with developmental growth.
- You will remove of roadblocks for the group and identify of trends that need to be addressed.
- You will read by example, influence without authority and improve collaboration efforts.
- You will ensure that Commissioning events are profitable and on track to finish as planned (or originally sold).
- You will have consideration and heavy involvement in QE events stemming during Commissioning Phase.Guidance of a Commissioning or QE plan when needed.Closure of feedback loop internally in a timely fashion - together with Quality Manager.
Additionally, as needed:
- You have some availability for after-hours support.
- You are willing to travel to address immediate needs or proactive visits for feedback.
- You have strong attachment to PM group - eliciting feedback and seeking potential commissioning obstacles proactively.
To succeed, you will need
- You havea BS Degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 5 years' experience in successful management of projects / Field Service.
- You haveknowledge of manufacturing / engineering.
- You have proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- You have 2-5 years of experience in General Admin support or Project Management.
- You have excellent interpersonal skills,proactive and a team player.
- You have SAP / MS Project experience (preferred) or other similar system experience will be considered.
- You have professional approach high urgency and strong communication skills.
- You have strong customer service approach / experience.
