Structure Loading Analyst

The Structure Loading Analyst at Metronet plays a crucial role in managing and documenting network assets within the Metasolv database. This position involves entering data related to physical and logical assets, such as addresses, hardware, and system elements, and modeling equipment in the Oracle database. Responsibilities include updating fiber release information, managing exceptions from customer turn-ups, and developing metrics reporting to support network status and needs. The role requires at least an Associate's degree and 2 years of experience in communications or networking, strong communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to create executive-level presentations. Familiarity with Nokia SAM/AMS, Adtran AOE, and MetaSolv is advantageous.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:



  • Enter fiber release information received from OSP into Metasolv including adding splitter hardware and making logical cross connects between equipment
  • Triage the exceptions queue of customer turn ups that get rejected from our auto-provisioning system to determine what team has changes that need to be made for the tickets to be completed
  • Develop metrics reporting to be able to better present network needs and status to management
  • Work with other internal departments to improve process flows



JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:



  • Associate's degree or higher in business, clerical, or related fields
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in communications/networking
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to create executive level Power Point presentations
  • Knowledge of file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures
  • Familiarity with Nokia SAM / AMS, Adtran AOE, and MetaSolv is a plus
