Job Summary:
This position will lead business engagement programs for the School of Computer, Data & Information Sciences (CDIS), working with departments of Computer Sciences, Statistics and the Information School to strengthen industrial affiliates programs. The successful candidate will work with others to develop connections between industry and CDIS academic programs, and develop or strengthen connections between industry and CDIS research programs. As part of the CDIS Advancement team, the position will lead corporate gift activities. The position will promote entrepreneurship programs and activities partnering with other units on campus and in the region. The successful candidates will work to connect CDIS stakeholders with community and industry partners to promote economic and social development in line with the Wisconsin Idea. Responsibilities: Assists in the development and implementation of innovative, creative promotional campaigns and strategy in alignment with corporate and foundation-related institutional strategic goals. Represents the school or unit to internal and external stakeholders and contributes to the supervision of unit staff.
