Job Summary:
The Sanford Lab in the Department of Soil and Environmental Sciences is hiring a research technician to support the Dairy, Soil, and Water Regeneration project. This is a public-private research endeavor involving six universities, the Soil Health Institute, the Innovation Center for US Dairy, and private industry seeking to improve the environmental footprint of dairy production by filling critical knowledge gaps associated with current and novel agricultural technologies. Responsibilities: Conducts research experiments with limited supervision. Provides technical support with some degree of independence for research projects and/or labs under moderate supervision.

Occasional early mornings, late afternoons, and weekends may be required for this position. Work Type: Full Time: 100% Appointment Type, Duration: Ongoing/Renewable Salary: Minimum $18.00 HOURLY Additional Information: This position requires carrying 60 pounds of equipment short distances across rough terrain all year round (including inclement weather).
