The salary ranges for this position based on location are listed below. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified as a part of our annual salary range review.

  • AL, FL, GA, TN Residents: $112,915 (min) - $146,789 (mid) - $180,664 (max)
  • NC Residents: $116,407 (min) - $151,329 (mid) - $186,251 (max)
  • DE, MD, PA, TX, VA Residents: $122,227 (min) - $158,896 (mid) - $195,564 (max)
  • DC Residents: $137,360 (min) - $178,568 (mid) - $219,776 (max)
  • CA & NY Residents: $142,016 (min) - $184,621 (mid) - $227,226 (max)

Summary

This role will support the Intelligence Community by guiding system architectures through agile development, cloud migration, and DevOps. The role involves managing ground requirements, coordinating system architectures, and overseeing system verification. Key responsibilities include defining capability roadmaps, generating CONOPS, prioritizing developer backlogs, and participating in readiness events. In this role, you will not only provide technical support to the customer but also play a major role in advising the customer on everything from team structure and operational systems and processes.


Role & Responsibilities:

  • Represents Fearless at a local level and provides leadership to team members and stakeholders, and builds solid relationships within the intelligence community and other customers.
  • Commitment to recognize, understand, respect and operate effectively within various SETA, FFRDC, and Government lines of authority.
  • Strengthens strategic relationships with peers, leaders, customers, users, and stakeholders, interfacing directly with our customers as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME), including creating revenue growth opportunities for Fearless with incumbent customers.
  • Maintains accountability for the performance of technical team members, including professional growth and development, ensuring they are equipped with the skills and support needed to thrive in their roles.
  • Leads the technical direction, working in close collaboration with the National Security Solutions (NSS) Business Group Director and additionally Offerings & Solutions Director to align with the business group and customer's strategy and vision.
  • Develops and implements strategies for technical solutions and plans, navigating strict regulatory landscapes and addressing key risks and controls.
  • Grows stakeholders' technical understanding through effective coaching and leadership
  • Provides technical and management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments.
  • Oversees the day to day operations of the technical teams.
  • Facilitates organizational development and growth by promoting effective team structures and enhancing collaboration across the organization.
  • Advises and develops inputs to strategy, future force design, capability development guidance, and operational capability requirements.
  • Identify key areas of innovation and investment where Fearless can actively engage sponsors and provide technical recommendations through rapid and agile development processes.
  • Improve technical teams' flow, delivery, and overall performance through strategic organizational development efforts.


Must-have Skills

  • A minimum of 10 years of demonstrated related working experience.
  • Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI Clearance with Poly.
  • BS/MS/M.Eng. in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar technology-related degree.
  • Demonstrated ability to serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and making timely, well-informed decisions using sound judgment and relevant data.
  • Knowledge of, and experience executing SAFe Agile methodology and helping organizations adopt Agile principles through outreach and training
  • Experience working on federal government agency projects as a contractor
  • Strong interpersonal skills as well as effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in fostering healthy team dynamics and implementing people-focused practices to drive continuous improvement, demonstrating a strong commitment to operational excellence.
  • Deep experience in the following domains: Cloud infrastructure, Software Engineering, Kubernetes, Cybersecurity, DoD Cyber Operations &/or Cyber Acquisition
  • Experience coaching or leading teams of Software Engineers, Site Reliability Engineers, Test Engineers, and Data Engineers.
  • Ability to develop product roadmaps, backlogs, and measurable success criteria to ensure effective mission capability delivery.
  • Experience in supporting organizational or team change initiatives and contributing to adjustments in team structures and processes.
  • Skilled in translating technical topics, requirements, and processes for non-technical stakeholders to ensure clear understanding and effective collaboration.


Additional and Project Specific Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with overall ground customer, technical familiarity with mission control and/or processing of one or more IC domains and systems, including sensor knowledge.
  • Knowledge of remote sensing systems and overall space and ground architecture including mission management and/or mission processing functions.
  • Detailed knowledge of customer's mission capabilities (to include GEOINT, SIGINT or Multi-INT domains) and overall space and ground architecture
  • Experience identifying user needs and gaps, identifying potential solutions, and assessing/analyzing alternatives
  • Experience in supporting Requirements Engineering, CONOPS development, and system integration to accommodate End to End Systems Engineering.
  • Holds a current CISSP, AWS Certified Developer Associate, Solutions Architecture Associate, or Solutions Architect Professional, or similar information security cloud platform certifications.
  • Demonstrated experience in driving organizational change, successfully leading initiatives that reshaped organizational structures. E.g. Knowledge and experience applying Team Topologies, FLOW Systems, or the like in order to help organizations business and tech teams achieve fast flow.


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer or during meetings.
  • Must be able to travel occasionally to client sites or company meetings, which may involve driving or flying.
  • Ability to communicate effectively via phone, email, and in-person, requiring clear speech, listening, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to move within an office environment, including reaching for files, using office equipment, and occasional light lifting (up to 10 pounds).
