As our Pork Quality Technician, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the freshness and quality of our pork products. You'll gather and analyze quality data, contribute to exciting optimization projects, and work closely with various teams to enhance our plant's performance.

What You'll Do:



  • Quality Data Collection: Conduct daily pork quality assessments, calibrate and maintain data collection equipment, and stay updated on the latest pork quality technologies.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Develop detailed reports, perform statistical analyses, and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders. Maintain regular reporting schedules (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually).
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to cost-saving initiatives, assist with projects aimed at improving processing efficiency and product quality, and collaborate with operations and quality assurance teams.
  • CFG Support: Provide insights on carcass breakdowns, conduct plant tours, support customer visits, and share your expertise in pork with the CFG team.


Who We're Looking For:



  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Food Science, Meat Science, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: At least three years in meat production, FSQA, or a related field. Entry-level experience in Research, Development, and Commercialization is a plus.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Project or similar tools is required. A passion for continuous improvement and data analysis is essential.

Experience
3 years: Minimum of three years' experience in meat production, FSQA, or related experience. Entry-level Research, Development, and Commercialization experience considered.
